Pastor Larry Williams - Crossroads Fellowship, Clarksville, TN

lead pastor | Larry williams

Larry Williams and his family have been a vital part of Crossroads Fellowship since the very first Sunday that it opened its doors for ministry. Initially, Pastor Larry wasn’t “Pastor” at all - he worked a full-time job and volunteered to work with the youth and children in the church during his time off.

During a special "Missions Conference" in October 2005, the missionary challenged the congregation to listen for God's call on their life, even if he was calling them into full time Christian service. Larry heard and answered that call, ultimately giving up his previous job and coming on full-time as the Youth Pastor at CrossRoads Fellowship. Pastor Larry is licensed with the Christian & Missionary Alliance and was ordained in July of 2012, the same year he received his degree in Christian Ministry from Crown College. He is now pursuing his Master's Degree in Ministerial Leadership.

Pastor Larry and his wife Christina have three children: Keith, Peyton, and Samantha. Christina runs her own in-home daycare business and volunteers with various ministries within the church. Larry and Christina lead a small group in their home every week, and as a family they enjoy working in the yard, fishing, and the occasional camping trip. Keith is a vital part of the video tech ministry of the church, Peyton has taken an active role in evangelizing to her classmates, and Keith, Peyton, and Sami are all involved the various ministries and activities of the church.

Mary Morgan - Worship Leader, Crossroads Fellowship, Clarksville TN

worship leader | Mary Morgan

Mary Morgan gave her life to Christ in March, 2007. Shortly after that, she joined Crossroads Fellowship's worship team. She began playing the piano at seven years old, and has always had a love for music. In May of 2008, God called her to begin leading worship at Crossroads. She received some "basic training" and began to serve as a Worship Leader in 2009.

Mary and Scott were married on July 23, 2005. Scott joined the Army two weeks later, and in February of the following year, he was stationed at Fort Campbell, KY. He has since served in both Iraq and Afghanistan. He gave his life to Christ in May of 2007. Scott got out of the Army in 2010 after being called to stay in Clarksville at Crossroads Fellowship. It was a huge step of faith, and God provided for all of their needs. Scott is now enrolled in Crown College, and is working toward a degree in Christian Ministry.

The Morgans have three young children, Jane, Jason and Elijah (not pictured). "We completely believe that the way we live at home will have an immeasurable impact on our children's decision to genuinely and passionately follow Christ. We want to be real in front of our kids, and so we strive to be the same people Monday through Saturday as we are on Sunday."

Ralph Gardner - Assistant Pastor, Crossroads Fellowship, Clarksville, TN

Assistant pastor (pastor emeritus) | Ralph Gardner

Ralph and Elaine have been a part of Crossroads Fellowship since April of 2011.  They both received Christ as their Lord and Savior in their younger years, and received calls to full time ministry: Ralph during his Navy years, and Elaine during her college years.  The Lord led them together at Simpson College in San Francisco, CA, (now Simpson University in Redding, CA), and  they were married August 29, 1964.  They have served together in Pastoral Ministry in Christian and Missionary Alliance churches in California, Montana, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and Minnesota.

In 1995, the Lord led Ralph into Hospital and Hospice Chaplaincy ministry in Nashville, TN, and Elaine worked full time as an RN at the VA Hospital. They served alongside Pastor Bernie Anderson at Faith Community Church in Franklin, TN.  Retirement came in 2002 for Ralph and in 2003 for Elaine, and they travelled in their motor home for six years. During that time, they were going where the Lord led them to go, volunteering in campgrounds, and supporting Pastors and their wives in their ministries. In October of 2008, they were led to take an Interim Pastoral ministry in Alabama for 2 1/2 years.

They know that without the fullness of the Holy Spirit in their lives, they can do nothing, and that they can do all things through Christ who strengthens them. They were led to Clarksville and Crossroads Fellowship in 2011 to support, help, give to, pray, encourage, reach out to the lost, and stand along side of Pastor Larry, his family, the church leadership, and the congregation.

Proverbs 3:5 & 6 has been a reality in their lives all through their journey together, for the Lord has truly led them all the way along.
