About Crossroads Fellowship of the C&MA Crossroads Fellowship is a daughter church of the Christian and Missionary Alliance. Crossroads began on April 6, 2003 in Hopkinsville, KY. This new church plant began meeting at Heritage Christian Academy each Sunday in the school cafeteria. After four months in the school Crossroads moved to a rented church building owned by the Assemblies of God. The church met at that location for one year and then moved again to a building that the people remodeled at 101 East 5th Street in Hopkinsville, KY. The church met there for six short, but productive months. It was then that God blessed in a way that the church was not expecting. The people of the church were given the opportunity to move from the City of Hopkinsville, KY to just south of the Kentucky border into Clarksville, TN. The Southern District of the Christian and Missionary Alliance made a building and land available to the church to use located at 2687 Tiny Town Road in Clarksville, TN. After prayer and consideration the people of the church decided unanimously that moving to Clarksville was the plan that God had laid out for them. The church is primarily composed of young families with children. We believe at Crossroads that your family is our most important asset, and we strive to make Christ centered family worship the focus of everything we do. The church is currently starting its "cell group" program. Cell groups are small in-home groups that meet weekly for prayer, Bible study, and evangelism. It is our belief that the "cell groups" will form the backbone upon which the church is grown. These small groups are called by some, "care groups", and are places where people can be nurtured in a time of need, and provide love to others when they are hurting and needing. For more information on cell groups please email the Pastor at jdbreedlovejr@bellsouth.net. The church meets together each Sunday morning at 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM for Fellowship, Communion, Praise and Worship, and the Preaching and Teaching of the Word of God. As a forerunner to each of these services the church meets to pray at 8:30 AM. Believing that our ultimate weapon in the Christian arsenal is prayer, the church strives to make prayer a matter of the utmost importance in all things that it does. The church currently has a full band that leads the congregation in worship. Our musical style is contemporary Christian. Examples of our music are songs by "Third Day," "Jeremy Camp," "Chris Tomlin," "Brian Reed," "Casting Crowns," and many other contemporary Christian artists. The church also provides a fully staffed nursery for all of its families and guests, as well as an exceptional children's progam headed up by the Pastor's wife Sara. We believe that the children are the future of the church and we strive to make the time they spend in "children's church" productive in learning and applying the Word of God to their lives.
